27th February 2017
We have just concluded the latest in our series of free national CPD training courses being offered to members of the Lifecycle accountants network, with more events to come during 2017.
With all the changes that accountants are faced with it can be hard to keep on top of things. With this in mind, Valerie Steward, from Park Seminars, presented her Spring Accounting and General Business Update to accountants at seven venues across the country to ensure they were aware of those key issues.
From an accounting perspective, she considered the new reporting requirements under FRS, micro and small company accounts and some relevant changes to company law. She also provided a general business update, looking at a number of areas such as ethical standards, QAD and data protection.
We have now posted a one hour webinar version on the Lifecycle website. It is available to members for free so please click here to register and then visit the training section of the website to view the webinar.
Next event – ANTI MONEY LAUNDERING UPDATE
The next in our series of free seminars sees Steve O’Neill, from our partner BTC, provide an update on the impact of the new legislation within the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 which are due to come into force later this year. Future seminars will be exclusive to Lifecycle members, so click here to reserve a place at your nearest seminar and to register for Lifecycle.
We have a programme of technical events confirmed across the country up to September 2017 with our 2018 content to be released later this year. To see details of all our future training courses please click here.
