Leonard Curtis has appointed Toby Rolls, an M&A expert with over 20 years of experience, to lead a new M&A Advisory service at the firm.
Toby brings extensive expertise from both large and mid-market M&A firms, where he originated and executed transactions across the private and public markets for entrepreneurs and family offices, private equity firms and larger corporates.
Leonard Curtis is a multi-disciplinary professional services company with 30 offices across the UK and offshore and employs over 300 people.
It delivers restructuring, legal, funding and business services to SMEs and corporates in both distress and non-distress markets, with over 30 years of experience in the sector.
Under Toby’s leadership, M&A Advisory will sit alongside the firm’s core restructuring expertise. It will add value to its Performance Advisory division, which provides cost-reduction and process improvement advice as well as transformation planning.
It will also work well with the firm’s newly acquired Virtualnonexecs business, which specialises in connecting companies and investors with exceptional non-executive and chair professionals.
Leonard Curtis CEO Daniel Booth said it was a significant strategic hire for the business. “Toby’s two decades of experience makes him the perfect fit to lead M&A Advisory as we continue to expand the breadth and depth of our professional services offering.
“M&A Advisory is the logical next step in developing our existing range of client solutions. We are committed to investing in our team with proven, highly skilled leaders like Toby. We wish him every success.”
Commenting on his new role Toby said: “I am excited to join Leonard Curtis and lead a new M&A Advisory service, working with the leadership team to realise its potential, and helping clients achieve their financial and strategic goals.
He added: “A core strength of Leonard Curtis is its personalised, hands-on approach. We will bring this to M&A Advisory, working closely with our clients to understand and achieve their desired outcomes and build strong, trusted relationships.”
