Worcester is the location of Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group’s (LCBSG) latest office – its seventeenth in the UK.
The professional services group’s recent expansion into the city aims to support more Midlands’ SME owners, their stakeholders and professional advisers on financial and operational issues faced at every stage of a business’ lifecycle.
The new office will further strengthen the Leonard Curtis brand and service offering across the Midlands as a whole and complement services already provided from its Birmingham and Wolverhampton offices.
Operating from Foregate Street, in Worcester, the office is being led by Joph Young who brings with him over 17 years’ experience of restructuring and recovery. He enjoys a number of key relationships with a range of financial institutions, which will also now be of benefit to the Group’s clients.
Joph has spent the majority of his career in Worcester – most recently for a national professional services firm – and it is the city where he was born, educated and lives.
The team is already delivering positive strategic advice on all areas of restructuring, law and finance – devising bespoke solutions to meet the most specific requirements and deadlines for clients across Worcestershire and into neighbouring counties.
Overseeing the Group’s expansion to Worcester is Leonard Curtis Midlands’ Director Conrad Beighton. Since joining the company in 2012, Conrad has been responsible for directing the growth of the brand across the region.
He said: “The Midlands is a really strong hub for SMEs and start-ups, and we’ve long recognised the opportunities to develop our presence here and across the regionsupporting these fledging firms to grow whilst creating new opportunities for ourselves as a business.
“From three regional offices we now have greater geographical reach to provide the levels of local support that our clients require. The Midlands is an expansive area and our growth and recruitment plans are ambitious. We’re very much looking forward to doing all we can to support Midlands’ SMEs and those who are advising them to realise their own potential.”
Group Director Daniel Booth said: “Our no-nonsense approach to finding practical solutions to the challenges faced by SME business owners and those advising them is certainly driving our nationwide growth.
“We’ve established an enviable results-driven reputation for ourselves around our other office locations – we’re known as a trusted go-to solutions provider of specialist services that SMEs need from time to time – and we’re delighted to now have a presence within such a thriving start-up and SME community here in Worcester and across the Midlands as a whole.”
