LEONARD CURTIS LAUNCHES EDINBURGH OFFICE TO INCREASE SCOTTISH PRESENCE

16th February 2023

Leonard Curtis is officially expanding into the Scottish capital as part of an ongoing campaign to offer business solutions for clients right around the UK.

The group – which specialises in restructuring, insolvency, funding, and legal support – is increasing its recruitment efforts in Scotland to build on success in its Glasgow office, which opened in 2017.

From its new premises in St Andrew Square in Edinburgh city centre, Leonard Curtis will assist clients with a comprehensive range of specialist services from company formation to cessation and all business stages in between.

The company has also appointed Business Development Manager Antonia O’Hare to support clients in-person across the Edinburgh area and beyond – using her in-depth understanding of the current SME climate to build valued relationships across the sector.

Director of Leonard Curtis, Barry Stewart, stated: “We’re taking major steps towards cementing our status as a leading business solutions provider in Scotland and Antonia will play a big role in our progress over the coming months by supporting our clients through in-person meetings.”

Antonia explained: “2023 is set to bring many key challenges – with the cost of living crisis impacting on disposable income that will have a knock-on effect for the hospitality trade and high street. With supply chain issues, business utility cost support being scaled back, and recruitment challenges, businesses are going to struggle – which is where we come in.

“At Leonard Curtis, we’ll assist business and individuals to avoid insolvency wherever possible, whilst advising on restructuring businesses to save the good parts and as many jobs as possible.

“Where insolvency is unavoidable, we can deal with all stakeholders including employees and directors in a respectful, friendly and professional manner. We are particularly focussed on working with our Scottish based accountancy partners and providing specialist support services to their clients who they refer to us for help.”

Leonard Curtis will provide an ongoing commitment to working with partners and clients in Edinburgh, Glasgow and further afield.

There are also plans for a new funding team in Scotland which will offer further support for accountants and clients looking to arrange finance – with plans for graduate recruitment in the area over 2023; creating jobs and promoting from within.

Antonia added: “I am excited to be meeting with professionals and letting them know about the services we offer, the support available to them, the importance of getting ahead of any potential financial issues and the care we take in delivering solutions.”
